You can Make Your Mark at Charter Homes & Neighborhoods!
Charter, one of the most recognized names in the homebuilding and real estate development industry, is seeking a full-time Project Manager to join our Neighborhood Development team.
The position requires at least five years of experience in the practice of real estate law, with an emphasis on real estate development.
In this role you will use your skills, honed during your experience as a real estate attorney, to identify and solve multidimensional problems prevalent in real estate development. The position is responsible for leading a cross-functional team of engineers, attorneys, planners, consultants, and financial analysts to deliver Charter’s new neighborhoods on schedule, on budget, and to plan. As such, you will have access to all facets of Charter’s real estate development portfolio, from the initial identification and due diligence associated with new land opportunities, to planning, neighborhood design, entitling the real estate, and sitework. Responsibilities associated with the position are far-reaching, touching multiple disciplines within Charter, and include exposure to some of the most creative and dynamic people in the business.
Candidates should be comfortable attending and presenting at public meetings, with experience in obtaining approvals from governmental bodies and other regulatory agencies. Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations affecting real estate development (e.g., zoning, subdivision and land development, stormwater, environmental permitting, and building permits) is also preferred.
Most importantly, the ideal candidate should be motivated by a desire to do and be more. If you are looking to use your knowledge and skills as a working real estate attorney to achieve a meaningful career with a sense of purpose, then you will find this job extremely rewarding.
At Charter, you will have the opportunity to work alongside people like you, who want to be the best at what they do. Our team has earned countless awards, including the Best Neighborhood in the Country and the National Quality Housing Award, the highest industry achievement. Over the past 30 years, we have delivered over 5,000 homes throughout our neighborhoods across Pennsylvania.
This position includes a competitive salary, a health plan that includes medical, vision, dental, and prescription drugs, paid vacation, a 401K, short- and long-term disability, and a flexible spending account. For additional details about Charter, see workatcharter.com.
